The Certified Electric Vehicle Technician Training Program will start on 1 March 2023. This comprehensive training program is designed to equip automotive technicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to work on modern electric vehicles.

The program consists of offline training. During the offline training, participants will receive hands-on instruction from an experienced instructor. Participants will learn about charging systems, electric motors, batteries, and other components of electric vehicles. They will also learn about the maintenance and repair of electric vehicles, including troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic procedures.

The course also covers safety protocols for working on electric vehicles. Participants will learn about the special precautions that must be taken when dealing with high voltage systems. They will also be able to practice their skills in a simulated environment.

Government policies regarding electric vehicles are constantly changing, and technicians need to stay up to date with these changes in order to ensure their customer’s compliant.

At the end of the training, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to work on electric vehicles in the automotive industry.
