Position Overview
We are looking for a strategic and relationship-focused Partnership Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and government bodies. This role is critical in building strong collaborations that enhance DIYguru’s educational offerings and extend our impact in the future mobility sector. As a Partnership Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and fostering a network that supports our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry partners, academic institutions, and government bodies. Identify opportunities for collaboration and develop strategies to strengthen partnerships that align with DIYguru’s mission and goals.
- Facilitate Collaboration with Academic Institutions: Work closely with universities, colleges, and research organizations to create and maintain educational partnerships. Develop joint programs, research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing platforms that benefit both DIYguru and our academic partners.
- Engage with Government Bodies: Establish and manage relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies to support policy advocacy and promote sustainable mobility education. Represent DIYguru in discussions with policymakers and contribute to shaping the future of mobility education and training standards.
- Coordinate Industry Collaborations: Engage with automotive companies, technology firms, and other industry stakeholders to foster partnerships that enhance our training programs and provide real-world learning opportunities for our students. Identify potential partners and negotiate terms of collaboration.
- Develop Partnership Strategies: Create and implement partnership strategies that align with DIYguru’s growth objectives. Identify new partnership opportunities and assess the potential value and impact of each collaboration.
- Monitor and Evaluate Partnership Performance: Track the progress and success of partnerships through regular assessments and feedback. Provide reports and insights to senior management on partnership performance and recommend adjustments to enhance effectiveness.
- Organize Joint Initiatives and Events: Plan and coordinate joint initiatives, workshops, seminars, and events with partners to promote DIYguru’s programs and strengthen collaborative relationships. Ensure these activities align with our mission and deliver value to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and educational teams to ensure partnership activities are integrated into broader organizational strategies and objectives. Provide input and feedback on program development and marketing strategies based on partnership insights.
- Represent DIYguru at Conferences and Networking Events: Attend industry conferences, academic forums, and government meetings to represent DIYguru and build relationships with potential partners. Promote our brand and expand our professional network.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in education, mobility, and sustainable technology sectors to identify emerging opportunities for partnerships and collaborations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Public Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field, preferably within the education, technology, or automotive sectors.
- Proven experience in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including industry partners, academic institutions, and government bodies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive organizational growth.
- Experience in organizing and managing joint initiatives, events, and collaborative projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
