Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote DIYguru’s training programs and certifications. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our reach, increasing enrollment, and driving revenue growth. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education, has a strong understanding of the mobility sector, and possesses a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to promote DIYguru’s training programs and certifications. Identify target markets and develop tailored approaches to reach prospective students and corporate clients.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets for course enrollments and certifications. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers, including individuals, educational institutions, and corporate partners.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their training and certification requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and events that drive sales and increase brand awareness. Provide insights and feedback on market trends and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Conduct Sales Presentations and Demos: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of DIYguru’s offerings.
  • Track and Report Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to help them achieve their individual and team goals. Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture that encourages continuous improvement and success.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with developments in the mobility sector and education industry, identifying emerging opportunities and potential challenges. Use this knowledge to adapt sales strategies and maintain DIYguru’s competitive edge.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the education, automotive, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the mobility sector, including electric vehicles, renewable energy, and sustainable technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Experience leading and managing a sales team, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
