Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and data-driven Google Ads Expert to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns, including Google Ads and YouTube video marketing. As a Google Ads Expert, you will play a crucial role in driving paid search traffic, optimizing ad performance, and increasing conversions. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in SEM who is passionate about digital marketing and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Google Ads Campaigns: Develop, implement, and manage Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, shopping, and remarketing ads. Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- YouTube Video Marketing: Create and manage YouTube video marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive traffic to DIYguru’s website. Utilize YouTube Ads to promote educational content, courses, and events.
- Conduct Keyword Research and Analysis: Perform thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-performing keywords and ad opportunities. Continuously refine keyword strategies to enhance ad relevance and performance.
- Optimize Ad Performance: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other SEM tools. Optimize ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and targeting settings to improve click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
- Develop and Test Ad Copy: Write compelling ad copy and develop creative assets that resonate with DIYguru’s target audience. Conduct A/B testing of ads and landing pages to identify the most effective messaging and design elements.
- Budget Management: Manage SEM budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Monitor daily spending and adjust bids and budgets as needed to achieve campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with Content and Creative Teams: Work closely with content writers, designers, and video editors to create engaging ad creatives and video content. Ensure all marketing materials align with DIYguru’s brand guidelines and campaign goals.
- Stay Updated on SEM Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in SEM and YouTube marketing. Apply new insights and strategies to stay ahead of competitors and enhance campaign performance.
- Generate Reports and Insights: Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Present findings to senior management and suggest data-driven strategies to enhance SEM efforts.
- Improve Quality Score and Ad Rank: Implement strategies to improve ad quality scores and ad rank, ensuring ads achieve maximum visibility at the lowest possible cost per click (CPC).
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing Google Ads and YouTube marketing campaigns.
- Proven track record of driving successful SEM campaigns, including experience with Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and remarketing.
- Strong understanding of PPC advertising, keyword research, bid management, and conversion optimization.
- Proficiency in using SEM tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, and other relevant platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimizing ad copy, creatives, and landing pages.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
