What is arduino and the use case

The actual programmable board known as Arduino This board allows for the attachment of a wide variety of sensors and the linking of numerous third-party libraries with an Arduino sketch. Compared to other controller architectures, the Arduino hardware components are less expensive, and the programming language is simple.

Arduino is an electronics project-building platform that is open-source. The Integrated Development Environment, or IDE, is a piece of software that runs on your computer and is used to write and upload computer code to the physical programmable circuit board (often referred to as a microcontroller) that makes up the Arduino.

With good reason, the Arduino platform has become quite popular with people just starting out in electronics. The Arduino, in contrast to the majority of previous programmable circuit boards, does not require a separate piece of hardware known as a programmer to load new code onto the board; instead, you can use a USB cable to do so. Additionally, the Arduino IDE employs a simplified C++ implementation, making programming simpler. Lastly, Arduino provides a standard form factor that organizes the microcontroller’s functions into an easier-to-use package.

One of the most well-liked boards in the Arduino family, the Uno is a great option for beginners. Later on in the tutorial, we’ll talk about what’s inside and what it can do.

This is a screenshot of the Arduino IDE for the Uno.
If you can believe it, all you need to blink your Arduino’s on-board LED is those ten lines of code. After reading this tutorial and the many other Arduino tutorials on our website, we’ll get you up to speed quickly, even if the code doesn’t make perfect sense right now.
