In 2023, DIYguru partnered with Honda Car India to deliver specialized training focused on 4-Wheeler Electric Vehicle (EV) Powertrain Integration. This training was aimed at enhancing the technical capabilities of Honda’s engineering team through a comprehensive curriculum that combined theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience.
Training Modules and Topics Covered
The training program was designed to cover various critical aspects of EV powertrain integration, ensuring a deep understanding of both the fundamental and advanced concepts. The key modules included:
- Fundamentals of Electric Vehicle Technology:
- Introduction to Electric Vehicles: History, current trends, and future scope.
- EV Components: Batteries, motors, controllers, and converters.
- Battery Technology: Types, chemical reactions, management systems, and safety protocols.
- Motor Principles: Working of different types of motors used in EVs.
- EV Powertrain Components:
- Detailed study of powertrain architecture and working of the powertrain components.
- Integration of electric motors, controllers, and battery systems.
- Design and simulation of EV powertrains.
- Converter and Inverter Controls:
- Motor Controllers: Design and operation.
