DIYguru, in collaboration with ASDC, conducted a comprehensive training program on Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology for the L&T team. The training aimed to enhance the technical expertise of L&T employees, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field of hydrogen energy.
Training Modules and Topics Covered
The training was structured into a series of detailed modules, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical applications of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology. The key topics covered included:
- Day 1: Introduction to Hydrogen Energy
- The atomic structure and properties of hydrogen.
- Comparison with hydrocarbon fuels in terms of energy, flammability, and safety.
- Fundamental gas laws and measurement of gases (pressure, temperature, mass flow).
- Day 2: Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Technology
- Introduction to renewable energy sources.
- Importance of electric/hybrid vehicle technology and hydrogen-based technology.
- Hydrogen’s role in addressing the global energy crisis and ensuring energy security.
- Day 3: Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems
- Properties and applications of hydrogen in IC engines and aerospace industries.
- Techniques and systems for hydrogen fuel cells.
- Safety and maintenance of fuel cell engines, including regulatory guidelines.
