What is the DET and when is it held?

The DET (DIYguru Eligibility Test) is the official online entrance assessment for admission into DIYguru's ASDC & AICTE-approved EV programs, and it determines your merit scholarship. The live test runs every upcoming Sunday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST. Register on this page and your unique test link is emailed to you.

What happens if I open my test link outside 7–10 PM Sunday?

Your link only counts as an official, scored attempt when opened between 7:00 and 10:00 PM IST on Sunday. If you open it at any other time, it runs as a practice/mock test — the attempt is not ranked, not counted for scholarship, and no official scorecard is issued. Always take your real attempt inside the live window.

Is the DET free? Do I get a scorecard?

Yes — the DET is completely free (₹0 test fee), and you also receive a free preparation guidebook on registration. After you submit your live attempt, your official scorecard is emailed to you, showing your score and whether you qualify for the scholarship and interview round.

How much scholarship can I get, and how is it decided?

Scholarships are tiered by DET score: 15% for 95%+, 10% for 85–94%, and 5% for 70–84% (up to ₹25,000 on flagship programs). They are limited to the top 30 candidates per batch and awarded on combined DET score and interview performance.
