🎓 Academic Excellence
Currently enrolled in B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering disciplines.
📝 DET Assessment
Complete DIYguru's Engineering Talent (DET) assessment covering EV fundamentals, problem-solving, and technical aptitude.
🔨 Project Submission
Build and submit a working EV prototype demonstrating innovation, technical skills, and understanding of electric mobility.
🎥 Video Interview
Top 200 candidates invited for final interview round with DIYguru founders and industry mentors to assess passion and potential.
Your Path to Becoming a DIY Fellow
A rigorous 5-step selection process designed to identify India's top EV talent
Submit Application
Complete online application form with academic transcripts, resume, and statement of purpose explaining your passion for electric vehicles. Rolling admissions throughout the year.
DET Assessment (Online)
Take the 2-hour DIYguru Engineering Talent test covering EV fundamentals, battery technology, motor controls, and problem-solving. Score >80/100 to qualify for next round.
Project Submission
Build an EV prototype within 2 weeks. Can be e-bike, e-scooter, BMS system, or any electric mobility innovation. Submit with detailed documentation and demonstration video.
Final Interview
Top 200 candidates invited for 30-minute video interview with selection panel. Discussion on technical project, career goals, and alignment with fellowship objectives.
Fellowship Begins!
10 fellows selected every 6 months (January & July cohorts). Onboarding includes hardware kit delivery, mentor assignment, and 1-month intensive training program commencement.

As a DIY Fellow, you'll work alongside university faculty, college administrators, and students to set up state-of-the-art EV labs and deliver cutting-edge electric mobility education. You'll lead by example, inspire the next generation, and build sustainable EV ecosystems.
