A paid 3-month summer internship at DIYguru, India's leading EV upskilling platform. Work directly with the founder and marketing team to produce videos that run on live campaigns, while learning the fundamentals of brand messaging, hooks, and conversion-led storytelling.

About the Role

A structured, mentorship-driven internship for students who want to build genuine expertise in content strategy alongside editing craft.

The intern is responsible for daily video production across short-form and long-form formats. Beyond execution, the role provides direct exposure to brand strategy, creative direction, and campaign-level performance review with the founder and senior marketing team.

Output runs on live Meta and LinkedIn campaigns supporting DIYguru's flagship programs in EV technology, battery systems, and embedded engineering.

Learning Outcomes

Six core competencies the intern will develop over the 3-month engagement.

Earning the first three seconds and the next thirty. Pattern interrupts, payoff structure, and pacing.

Outcome-Led Storytelling

Why career-outcome messaging converts and feature-led messaging does not. The single most important shift in edtech content.

Platform-Native Pacing

The editorial language of LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and long-form as distinct disciplines.

Retention Curve Analysis

Reading audience drop-off data, identifying friction points, and rebuilding cuts based on measurable performance.

Thumbnail Psychology

Composition, contrast, curiosity gaps, and CTA placement. The decision before the click.

Brand Voice at Scale

Maintaining consistent brand identity across high-volume monthly content through systems, templates, and editorial standards.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day scope of work during the internship.

  • Edit 2 to 3 short-form videos (Reels, Shorts) and 1 long-form video each working day
  • Produce compelling clips from webinars, expert sessions, and student testimonials
  • Build thumbnails, subtitles, motion text, hooks, transitions, and CTAs
  • Adapt every edit across 9:16, 16:9, and 1:1 formats with format-aware pacing
  • Maintain brand visual consistency across all output
  • Track current trends, viral formats, and platform shifts

CapCut Filmora DaVinci Resolve Adobe Premiere Pro + Canva / Photoshop (preferred)

Eligibility

Who this internship is designed for.

  • Students currently pursuing a degree, available for a 3-month summer internship
  • Background in Media, Film, Design, Mass Communication, or Marketing (preferred, not required)
  • Proficiency in at least one industry-standard video editing tool
  • Basic understanding of color correction, audio balancing, and platform-specific content
  • Portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing capability
  • Based in or able to travel to Delhi NCR for hybrid days at the Noida office

COMPENSATION
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month. Final stipend determined basis interview and skills assessment.
